We’ve developed four interactive toolkits purpose-built for different users to support inclusive employment

Why focus on disability disclosure and workplace accommodations?

Little is known about the experiences of disability disclosure and workplace accommodations among young people with disabilities who attempt to enter and remain in the workforce.

Understanding how disclosure and accommodations are facilitated in the workplace is critical to creating more inclusive and productive workplaces:

Youth with disabilities are often unprepared for disability disclosure and asking for accommodations

Accommodations can extend working life, enhance physical and psychological health and be provided at little or no cost

Workplace accommodations are supported by human rights and accessibility legislation

HAPPY addresses these gaps with tools that are evidence-informed, gender-responsive, and co-designed with youth, employers, and clinicians.
